The Aura: Your Energy Skin

The human aura field is distributed around the body like an ovoid, spherical, or egg-shaped cocoon of energy. Clairvoyantly, it appears as a shape with different qualities in different places. You may see the boundary as diffuse, well defined, smooth, or jagged. You can perceive the aura clairvoyantly as color, brightness, darkness, shape, and density. You can hear the aura clairaudiently as tone, sound, music, frequency, and vibration. You can feel the aura using biotelemetry (The detection and measurement of a human or animal condition, activity, or function such as the heartbeat or body temperature) and psychometry (temperature changes, pulsation, tingling, pressure, or magnetism). When you are feeling healthy, self-confident, calm, and grounded, your aura is healthy as well. A healthy aura is indicated by a cocoon of energy surrounding and extending out from the body at least one foot in all directions. This positive protection field is composed of bright colors, strong vibrations, pure tones, and a full, smooth, egg-shaped boundary. When you are sick, depressed, sad, or unsure of yourself, your aura is close to your body. The colors are most likely to be dull, murky, and dark. The frequency is slow and erratic. There may be breaks or tears in the boundary. And the shape could be bumpy and distorted. All of these indicate that your aura is not serving as a positive protection field between you and the energy of others and your environment.

An Ayurvedic View on Allergies |

In the case of allergies, as with any other health problem, Ayurveda has a holistic, constitutional approach. Even though many allergy sufferers experience some sort of respiratory symptoms, such as congestion, sneezing, or nagging sinus pain and pressure, allergies and their symptoms vary as much as those who have them. They are deeply rooted in the physiology of a person and a holistic approach is necessary if we are to deal with them effectively. Finding the causative factors, whether they are food and/or environmentally related, and avoiding them can help and may very well be necessary for a certain time to bring the organism back to balance, but this is only part of the puzzle. Allergic symptoms are always related to doshic imbalances. The clinician must examine thoroughly the diet and lifestyle of the client to tailor an appropriate regime. Removing the foods or substances that are triggering the allergic reaction may at times solve the problem, but the main aim is to find and remove the root cause of the doshic imbalance that is the real, underlying problem. In other words, to lessen or remove the predisposition to the causative factors that trigger the reaction in the first place. According to Ayurveda's view of samprapti, or pathogenesis of disease, allergies are a doshic response to specific allergens in the environment, such as pollen, mold, dust, ragweed, chemicals, or foods. The individual response to these factors often relates to the predominant dosha in the constitution, but other factors (such as diet and lifestyle) may disturb the other doshas and cause non-characteristic allergic reactions.

You can still use a Hematite to draw fever or other illnesses from the body. Hematite also makes a wonderful elixir. Use it to treat anemia, it will aid the blood in absorbing iron. It can also be useful for treating insomnia, leg cramps and nervous disorders.

Self Love: The Basics |

If you view yourself with a great deal of compassion, and suspend all judgment, then replace that judgment with understanding, and compassion, you will come closer and closer to love your authentic self. So many people have taken on the views of others during their earlier years, and have not learned how to replace those views with the pure truth. The way to do this is to immediately stop insulting yourself, cutting yourself down, and degrading yourself. This is paramount! Instead of saying: “I stink at this” say: “I am doing my best, and that is all that is needed.” You have to bring all of the small insulting lies that you tell yourself up to your conscious awareness. Once you NOTICE what you are actually telling yourself, and if it is degrading, simply notice it without any judgment whatsoever, and then replace it with something more compassionate and understanding. Speak to yourself the way you would to someone that you have great respect for. Love for Self, and love for any other person comes from our views and perceptions. It is all within the mind. Our mind is governed by our thoughts. Our thoughts create our feelings. Our feelings urge us into action, and the cycle continues.
